Who is SPXDS/TechnoColor

Melissa is a web developer, web designer, graphic designer, Product reviewer, manualscript proofer, tech support goddess, and more more. She can do it all seriously and has been for a long time now.

Long story Version

Through the years Melissa has had both PCs and Macs, but finally switched completely to Apple/Mac Computers in 2007.

Melissa has always had an interest in drawing and painting since she was a kid. In the late 90's Melissa got into drawing digitally, but still does paper drawings and sketches too.

Melissa is very knowledgeable in the area of web development, graphic design, Marketing, Information Systems, building/upgrading computers, ISP/MAC/PC:Software/Hardware tech support, and Internet development.

She holds a couple of degrees in Computer Science, Networking, Art/Graphic Design, and Internet/Web Programming and is currently working on getting even more degrees in the tech and art area. She also keeps up with todays design trends, technologies, and learning the latest programming languages too.

Melissa is also a blogger, and Podcaster. She has been blogging on the web before anyone knew what RSS, blogging and podcasting was. She enjoys building websites, designing graphics, and still enjoys upgrading or building computers in her spare time as well.

Melissa codes all websites by hand in a text editor and creates them to be user-friendly, web standards compliant, as well as resolution, browser & platform valid. Her mission is to create websites that anyone and everyone can use.

Aside from being a design/web standards perfectionist, you will find Melissa loves to go back to her roots to draw & design stuff too. She has had a passion for making things and art since she was a kid. She worked for her HS news paper to help with layout and even took drafting classes just to learn how to draw house plans, and other things too.

Melissa is a great team member or someone who can independently work as well working remotely or in house. Melissa is also great on meeting the strictest deadlines and she also tries to get all of her work done before the actual deadline too.

When not working Melissa enjoys spending her free time by volunteering her knowledge and time to local community and non profit groups. As well as spending quality time with family and friends. When she is not helping out others, you can find her playing guitar, drawing or coming up with new design work for fun (Yeah! she likes to design stuff for fun, she can't keep out of Photoshop or Illustrator if she is on the computer.) She always carries a Moleskine around to draw new ideas too.
